this happens to me on occasion, I usually let the second wheel sit out so Ive got
1-0-1-1. The reason I do this is because Ive got hi-los and If I go with a 1-1-0-1 the puck can fit through the back gap, and I use my skate alot to kick the puck up.

However, if you're running hi-lo's then you only really get the choice of the missing wheel. for example, 76-80's, if you're missing a 76 you have to go 1-0-1-1, but if you're missing an 80 you gotta go 1-1-0-1.

I wouldn't do it for long, contact the manufacture for whichever chassis you have to have them send you a replacement axle, skating on 3 wheels is going to make your wheels wear alot quicker and will weaken the frame

Make it exciting, leave off the back one and skate on your toes the whole time

I broke my back wheel on a hard stop last game. At the time my team was one goal away from a mercy so when I got the chance to change, I changed, but didn't go to the lockerroom to replace the wheel because I figured the game would end before I could get back out. I had about a half wheel left to use. Well, my team didn't score and guys got tired so I ended up back on the rink skating with only a half a wheel on the back.

I'm hanging up at the circle, the puck is passed back to me, I go to shift my weight to shoot, and almost fell over because of the missing wheel.
