Dallas Stars < (I mean @) San Jose Sharks, 7PST/10EST. Overusing MSPaint edition.

NEXT ON THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL!

WAIT! WHAT'S THAT?

THE SPACE SHARK HAS SPOKEN!

Tonight At The Hp Pavilion, 7pmPST 10pmEST. KDFI, CSN-CA (HD) (lol the Dallas provider doesn't have HD lol)...

The Dallas Stars
(13 - 8 - 9, 4th in the Pacific Division, 13th overall)

will be served justice by the space shark via

The San Jose Sharks
(19 - 7 - 6, 1st in the Pacific Division, T-1st overall)

Leading Scorers

Joe Thornton of the Sharks (42 points, 1st overall)

Brad Richards of the Stars (35 points, 8th overall)

Team Stats That Are Definitely Not Ripped Off From nhl.com or espn.com/nhl

Officials
Sutherland #11, St. Pierre #45

Sutherland is senior. Sutherland is a loose caller and St. Pierre a tight caller. Both swallow the whistle in the third and St. Pierre will give a slight advantage to the home team. St. Pierre does a bit of score calling (calling in favor of the team trailing). Sutherland is one of the top skater among refs. St. Pierre is a bit below average on skating. I caught a game with them as a pair and it was a little tighter than normal for Sutherland. They were both talking which tends to reduce penalty count. Neither ref has game control issues.

Kelly "Ice Capades" Sutherland #11

Justin St. Pierre #45

(Thanks again to SJEasy for providing the ref info.)

Yes, that is a picture of a Shark attacking a man hanging from a helicopter. How could they lose now?

(PS thanks for the compliment on my first GDT the other night. I thought it might be too over the top, so I decided the only way to compensate would be to make this one even more over the top.)

I forgot that the forum doesn't record the second and actually made a point to post it at 3:00:00am. However, the space shark knows, so it was not in vain.

Snog: 5 - 3 Sharks. Heatley times 3, Marleau, Boyle. The space shark is merciful.

Great GDT again, Derick!

Go Sharks!

My GF bought tickets for my bday to this game, will be my second time there all season. I've gone on my birthday the past 3 years, and the Sharks have won all 3 games, outscoring the opposition by 10 goals to 1. Here's to #4 in a row!

With a perfectly timed thread, the help of space shark, and a streak like that, how can we lose? I'm going to go put money on the Sharks right now.

Sorry about the time. I'll go edit it out of the post. Can someone with admin edit the title for me? It appears that I'm not allowed to. That's two games straight messing up the time, damn >_< (Edit: figuered out how to do it myself.) Forgive me, I'm new. I still have a chance at the Calder trophy for GDTs, right?

See, I'm in Toronto, so in my mind all times are eastern. When I'm checking what games are on each night, I see 10/10:30est games and I know those are west coast games. I see 7/7:30est and I know those are east coast games. So I guess when I typed the times, the "10=west, 7=east" applied itself. It was so hard not to see it that way, that when I got a message correcting me earlier I looked at it and still thought it was right, lol.

Being in the Dallas area now I can't watch this game in HD on NHL CI but rather have to watch it SD from the Dallas feed. Double-whammy, the wrong team's feed and no HD. Ugh...

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Why does the title read "GDT Dallas Stars > (I mean @) San Jose Sharks"

Are you some sort of Stars fan in disguise? Stars > Sharks?

What's going on here?!?!?!?!?!

How can you have a Carl Sagan / Dallas Stars themed GDT without mentioning Eddie "Billions and Billions" Belfour.
