Campbell has not ben drafted yet. D'amigo and Kadri are Toronto prospects. Hall has yet to be drafted (projected #1 overall this year). Eberle is Oilers property. Schenn is Kings property. Shroeder is Canucks property. Carlson is Caps property.

Any other WJC prospect you like? I doubt Campbell makes it to us in the 3rd round after his recent performance.

The worst part is that a couple of the really good US players (Kreider is one, I believe) are Ranger draftees. So we'll see lots of them in the coming years.

That's why I said trade. I didn't say now, but when they are drafted.

Hands down, huh?

I guess Carter really impresses you with chest sniping goalies, missing the broad side of barns and taking lazy stick minor penalties.

Bobby Ryan had almost 60 points his rookie season and is on pace for almost 70 this season.

Tell me with a straight face that

Gagne - Richards - Ryan
JVR - Giroux - Briere

is not better than

Gagne - Richards - Giroux
JVR - Carter - Briere

Btw, before anyone says, "Where is Hartnell? He is so good and irreplacable, doi doi." I am making those lines assuming that Hartnell begins games by going straight to the box rather than the bench to save the refs the trouble of making calls and the Flyers the trouble of him ruining offensive rushes with his terrible stick skills.

Haha, ok.

I personally would love Eberle and Campbell after what I saw in that game, haha.

EDIT: It was the right player

D'Amigo is already drafted. He goes to my college. Sick as hell player and definitely underrated. Toronto got a good one in him. I dont think they would trade him.

Eberle is pretty much the new God for the Oilers right now, so he ain't going anywhere, even if we had a Lindros to offer haha. Campbell maybe, but we would probably have to give big for him. Same with Hall, D'Amigo, Kadri, Johnson or Kristo. I'm just saying you would have to give up a LOT to get any of them.

If we could get a hold of Brayden Schenn from the Kings and then trade them to Toronto, they would probably give us D'Amigo straight up. They REALLY wanted Schenn badly in the 2009 Draft. Maybe a 3-way deal somewhere haha.

I just noticed. D'Amigo was drafted in the 6th round. Holy **** he is awesome for being picked in the 6th round.

Trading the 5th overall in 2009 for 6th Round D'Amigo. Yeah, that's fair. haha.

Considering how well D'Amigo did, he's worth WAY more than his 6th round. Datsyuk was drafted at the tail end of the 6th round, and look how he turned out. And Zetterberg was 7th round. And Lundqvist was 7th round as well and Lombardi and Gaustad.

Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Lundy are proven players. D'Amigo is a prospect who played well against 18 and 19 year olds.

Ugh, that's a HUGE difference. Talk to me when D'Amigo has a 90pt season in the NHL. Schenn is the top prospect in LA and has higher potential then D'Amigo currently.

I'm curious to why Schenn didn't play in the IIHF Juniors for Canada though. D'Amigo shows a lot for being a 6th rounder. I'm just saying, even though he was 6th round, don't count him out for anything.

He was? Well he didn't show up anywhere compared to Hall, Eberle or Pietrangelo.

Schenn had a pretty underwhelming tournament, but still put up 8 points (tied for 5th on Canada's roster).

I would LOVE to see an RPI guy in the Flyers pipeline. I wonder if he'll be back in the lineup this weekend. I'm thinking about heading to the game at Princeton on saturday.

Kreider and Stepan looked really good too (New York Ranger's guys)

He was underwhelming in the Gold game, but 5th in scoring on that team is solid.
