Penner is a beast!

I also love Quinn hockey. Win or lose, it's more fun to watch.
Agreed, this is not the same Oilers team as last, regardless of changes or lack of changes in the roster

Penner is the best hockey player that I've seen in an Oilers jersey, yes that includes gap tooth. He is just an incredible hockey player right now. Lowe may look dumb for a lot of things, but he looks like a genius when it comes to #27.

Penner was a powerhouse tonight but that shot Brule scored his 2nd with was taut.

I think thats the one that really got them cranked wide open.

Penner is making team Canada, how do you keep a guy with this kind of game off the team.

Wow.

What a 3rd period. The team is just looking really balanced right now. Stone and Jacques have really helped up the intensity/effort of the entire team.

O and

Lubomir Visnovsky 24:59 TOI +2. He looked so strong in that 3rd period. The guy can play bigger minutes than he has been. Quinn should really get him up to 23-24 minutes a night.

It's unfortunate that they're going to have to be home at Rexall when they get crushed by Dustin Brown and the Kings.

The Oilers' media guide says the team won eight straight road games in 86-87...so how is 5 straight a record?

It is a lucky charm when I shut off the game when they are losing

I think the oilers have come back 7 out of the 8 times I have shut off the game half way through it

We're bending, but not breaking.

This is exactly what Pat Quinn has instilled in the players. THAT is the mindset he's putting them in.

I fell in love with this team all over again tonight.

I think they also said those 8 road games in a row had some home games in between.

Yeah, Jacques and Stone both got assists on Brule and Penner's goals. That was awesome.

I was worried about the first line until brule scored the first goal. Then they blew the doors off the game.

Instead of finding ways to lose games they are finding ways to win them and they are doing it in all kinds of fashions. That bodes well for this Oilers team, now and in the future.

I have to admit I didn't see that comeback happening.

There should be an asterisk by the road record though.

Well we are officially the hottest team in the NHL right now. How do we take this streak back to Rexall? How do we insert Comrie back into the line-up?
