I consider Vancouver as part of the road trip since there were no home games in between

Hmm...

It started in the Dallas game, http://hfboards.com/showpost.php?p=2...&postcount=142

Then tonight with the Horcoff goal, http://hfboards.com/showpost.php?p=2...&postcount=429

Am I officially forgiven by the hockey gods for my shootout comment??

You know with our luck Penner will make Team Canada and then get injured...

He is already rolling, but what a boost that would be to his already high confidence.

Great, now they'll think they only need to work for one period.

Re-up Penner now! Or it will cost us too much later...

Principe Really bothered me with the Penner Interview.

Do you think you should be on Team Canada?

WTF is he supposed to say?

Has Penner even missed a game as an Oiler due to injury? He seems sturdy.

I love the consistency in both of their games! And both great hitters.

This was like watching an Oilers game from the 80s - things not breaking their way for 2 periods, trailing into the 3rd, then they could turn it up and finish the game. Don't expect this group to do it as convincingly though

Lost in the Penner hype?

Visnovsky is now 3-9-12 +9 in his last 11 games.

- 10-2-1 with Stone in the lineup
- Set a record for most road wins in a row (5)
- Penner 1 point away from last years totals and already past his goal totals
- We can finally complete comebacks

Who are these guys and what have they done to the Oilers?

I love Pat Quinn

I am sure an Oiler from this game will have been injured...and by the time Comrie is back...there will be a few. /shrug

You don't, at least not yet, same goes for Grebeshkov, you can't mess with something like this.

Besides the obvious 1st line domination in the 3rd, props to the guy I love to rag on constantly.....Horky Dorky! Did he lose ANY faceoffs tonight...none in the 3rd I'll wager!!

Good job Oilers

I guess you don't watch too many Oilers game do you? We got absolutely dominated in several games last season by Chicago, Buffalo, etc.

Yeah. What a crazy 20mins and 10 secs.

I'm almost speechless which is news for me.

I remember saying a couple weeks ago that the Hemsky injury might not hurt us because Brule is more compatible on first line.

Its really the only thing I've been right about in a long time.

Yeah, there's too many records lately that should be asterisked. Wins arent same as they used to be since the shootout.

But what the hell. Woo Hoo!!!

Penner - Gagner - Brule
Smid - Visnovsky

to be honest
i dont want to go through the GDT cause i am sure it was over flowing with negativity

but i'd love to see all the people who "gave up" on this team or were being negative to eat some crow and step up to the plate and throw in the towel on their "dedication to the oilers" and go cheer for the leafs or something

it may have been a hard game to watch but well worth the wait for the third period GOIL GOIL GOIL !!!!!
