I fear no one will hear it buried at the end of the last thread, but it needs to be heard, because it rules.

I was going to go look for that video this morning after I read about it. Thanks for saving me the trouble.

That guy landed that flush and dropped him instantly.

I figure 2-5 games.

He would only get a 2 for instigating, a 5 for fighting, and a game misconduct in hockey...maybe a one game suspension, maybe.

too many men on ice for the opponent.

not a football fan but do they allow fighting in football? if not, they should consider.. it will make it more interesting than watching bunch of steroid ridden 300lbs dudes in tights chasing a ball...

Top 10 favorite bands of all time [from a Zad post in the last thread]

In no particular order:

The Who
The Doors
Rolling Stones
Led Zeppelin
Yes
STP (and not just because Zad said so!)
Oasis
Green Day
The Beatles
Bob Dylan

Honorable Mentions:
Neil Young/CSNY
The CLASH
Pink Floyd
Eric Clapton
Genesis/Peter Gabriel

I could go on . . . but then it we could be a collection, not a list.

P.S. JDM just for you: "Nobuo Uematsu" Not really a favorite, but jr turned me on to the Advent Children Soundtrack aka FFVII. Its very good listening, if your nmot to southern to enjoy it! Sorry Cap'n, couldn't resist.

Carried over from the previous thread, Zad's question "what is the difference between Republicans and Democrats?

Well if you are talking about their political beliefs, not much.

One spends money we don't have for the good of the country the other spends money we don't have for the good of the people.

No they are both pretty much wrong for the most part. Neither looks out for the interest of the people, which is supposedly why they are elected.

Well that may be your opinion but if you are voting for the two major parties, in general, there isn't much difference in the two. The top priority in this country is and always has been big business, not people.

At least I'm not voting for Exxon, Pfizer or whatever other big corporate interests support the candidates you vote for.
