The blame for this abyssmal start goes collectively to the players, the coach and the GM. The question is - what do the next 51 games hold in store?

Discuss and flame away!!!!

I can't believe Gaborik has 22 goals and the next best goal total is 6. That looks completely bizarre.

I knew our scoring differential was real bad, but holy crap. We would be so deep in last place in the league if we did not have Gaborik.

Look at that scoring column, that is absolutely disgusting.

and LOLZ @ $$/point stat. That's pretty sad, Drury Redden and Brash make Gaborik look like a steal!

Even worse than predicted. I was thinking we'd be in trouble because other than Gaborik figured we wouldn't have a 30 goal scorer. Looks like we might not even have a 20 goal scorer.

That is an eye sore. Callahan is a -10? Ouch

Gaborik has almost 4x as many goals as the next player. Absolutely ridiculous.

I know it will never happen, but even if we don't make the playoffs and he finishes with something like 60 goals and 100 points, he deserves the Hart Trophy

Seriously, Gaborik and Lundqvist should bench themselves just to send a message.

I give Hank a C.

No way do Callahan, Higgins or Boyle deserve "D"s.

I'd give Hank a C+/B- (average).

"C" is a bit low considering lately he has been better. A lot of the mistakes Hank makes would be less damaging if this team could score a frekin goal.

I do agree with you Sing that Cally and Higgins deserve at least a C. Boyle a C-.

Hold up......you project a +27 end of year for Duby and you rate him as a C?!?!?!? And no offense, as good as Gabby's been early on in the season, in a business that is "what have you done for me lately" he's been far from stellar as of late. And as for Hank, when your team only scores an average of 2 goals or so in the last month and a half and you've still been able to compete for the win, it's usually a good indication that your goalie is keeping you in those games! That being said, read these threads, everyone here is frustraded with this team, imagine standing on your head most nights stopping shot after shot only to look up and see the way your team is playing in front of you? Can't blame Hank for not giving a crap on some nights!

That's rather disturbing. What made you think of that? It's absolutely spot on. This year's New York Rangers are the 2000-2001 Florida Panthers.

Someone else caught it before me, but honestly, the two clubs bear a striking resemblance.

You look at the Panthers now and the only two benefactors from that year were dealt. I hope we dont end up in the same situation. I also hope we draft better than Weiss

Weiss has been pretty good this season. It isnt like he has been playing with all-stars the past few seasons, he may have just taken a little bit longer to develop.

Point being if we're hoping for a draft pick that will make an impact NEXT YEAR I think its relatively unlikely.

Outside of the top-3 I dont see it, unless they draft a player who is more ready now and doesnt have as much upside.
