Whether it was a kicking motion or not doesn't matter. It was a rebound since Quick had already stopped the puck with the poke-check, and you cannot score on a rebound in the shootout.

To me it looked like a rebound...the shot, then back to ribero's skate then in. But ya im wearing my King's homer glasses

Im not sure, but doesnt the fact that ribs lost control of the puck, and it had backward motion off of quick, means its no goal?

We didn't get away with anything. The save was made when the puck changed direction(back into his pad) due to Quick's pokecheck.... Anything after that moment is moot

Fox is saying that because Quick poke checked it, every thing after that doesn't count

Glad we came through. Few questions though...
1. Why is Brown always in our shootout lineup?
2. Why was Quick not one of the stars of the night...that is outrage.
3. Why did Murray move Frolov off our first line...we had a good period and Murray makes changes...why?

Don't need one. He made the save. Everything after that is secondary. No goal. Love you though

Yeah, that is what it sounds like by posters, I can't hear Fox's explanation as Center Ice cuts out almost immediately after games end, but it does sound like they granted the pokecheck as being the end of the play and everything else is a rebound after that. Oh well, We are 1 point behind Washington for first place in the NHL! GO KINGS!

Frolov's comment on the line change was amusing..."we won so the coach was right."
