Who are these players and what the hell have they done with the Flyers I've known for the last 4 years?

I don't think that's a coincidence either.

Coburn has sucked balls and single-handedly handed opposing teams a plethora of bad goals. Once he comes back I'm hoping they give him third line minutes with Bartulis.

Welcome back Danny Syvret... (who actually paired with Bart has not looked bad that one game)

Totally floored by that 3rd period, Asham, JVR, Kalinski, and Lappy all stepped it up big time and led us to that win with Kimmo.

Bouch was also really good.

Coburn really has cost us many games this year.

I Guess Syvret comes up to play with Bart

MSE, I love how you rarely, if ever, post during the GDT. I imagine that you intensely watch the games to memorize everything so you can refer to it later... LOL

No, that was a pretty good effort. The most PL-type game they've played so far. Teams that only put forth 20 minutes of effort don't put 40 shots on net.

BTW, after a full game of it, I would like to officially protest the Carcillo-Richie-Carter line, they just didn't do anything.

The Giroux at C thing is nice, but he needs to figure out RW/LW. The thing is that there are so many good future C tandems in the East (Crosby/Malkin, Tavares/Bailey, Little/Peverley, etc.) and as good as Rou is, I don't want to have to worry about him defensively.

Ehhh, I dunno about effort, but we did not generate a goalscoring chance in the 1st 2 periods outside of maybe 1-2 with Parent and the Kalinski ones.

I'm not going to go home crowing about 40 shots when 2/3 of them were unscreened slappers from 40 feet out.
