Vancouver Canucks sign forward Mike Grier to a 1 year 1 M dollar contract. we're thrilled to have Mike on the team and we think his defensive play is something this team has been missing. He will likely be pencilled into the line-up with Ryan Carter/Tanner Glass and Rick Rypien.

We'd also like to announce the return of goaltender Andrew Raycroft. We gave Andrew the chance to find another suitor that would allow him another shot at a #1 goalie position or more games played and no one came a knockin'. Andrew is signed to a 1 way contract worth 850k.

Cory Schneider WILL be moved. All teams interested in a LEGIT goalie who's able to step in for the 2010-11 season PM me.

LA is proud to bring Matt Cooke into the organization to bring some needed toughness to our 4th line. The deal is 2 years, $800,000 per.

We are still looking to add a scoring winger! We have valuable assets available. PM ASAP if interested.

Dallas would like to make a case for retirement so he can end his career playing only for the Stars.

1) He's only played 96 of a possible 164 games the last 2 seasons (07/08 and 08/09).

2) He's already suffered 3 injuries in 30 games this season.

3) I don't think he'd sign with another NHL team besides Dallas. At least let him sign in Finland if he continues his career.

READY FOR THE SEASON!

The New York Rangers have decided to buy out the contract of defenseman Andrew Alberts. He is now an UFA. It also means that Donald Brashear will start the season in the AHL. We will try to find him a new team at some point during the season.

My final roster is posted.

Does this mean the game is over? I'm still waiting on an answer from an agent.

Finish their roster by adding Dennis Seidenberg for 3 years, and Derek Boogaard for 2 years.

Announce the signing of center Sam Gagner to a 3 year, 3M/Year contract. The compensation to Edmonton is a 2nd round pick (Unless he was not qualified?)

Also, with that, we waive Daymond Langkow. We needed the cap space, as we were over the cap.

The only thing we could have done is automatically re-sign top RFAs with their teams. Sucks when someone decides to join and not play.

BLUES ROUND OUT ROSTER

The Blues have rounded out their roster by signing defensemen Milan Jurcina to a one year, .900K contract and forward Ruslan Fedotenko to a two year, 1.5M contract.

Oh no worries, I was more so talking about someone just replacing their veteran C in Langkow, with a 4.5M contract, a 60-70 point player gone simply cause they want a change and won't try to trade him. I'd like to see what kind of free agent would sign with a team when they see how they treat their players.

Been already trying to trade him for days, nobody is really interested in a dime a dozen center, that is over 30, making 4.5M.

Also, I was over the cap, needed to clear his salary.
