Emotional criticism is a projected expression of one's self-hatred.

If you say, "he's stupid" you are really saying, "I am stupid."

If a poster writes, "Stock sucks," that person is projecting negative feelings about himself.

Thank god PJ is out at The Team 990. I enjoyed when Randy Tieman filled in for him, and just a couple of weeks ago, I said to myself "Gee, Randy Tieman should do this full-time." He's definately an upgrade over PJ Stock.

He's not confrontational enough. Everyone is ok by him.

"Yeaaaah Bob Gainey could be doing better, but he's been ok so far"

"I really like so and so as a player, he's not greaaaat but he's useful."

Come on! Be a little more critical. You're a radio host.

That will come in time. Some caller from Hell will call in, and he'll be a changed man.

Randy is too nice. His voice makes me want to eat a hot dog and watch overweight middle age men play softball.

Or, maybe Stock just really sucks.

BTW, he does.

Maybe you have some childhood issues that you need addressed seeing as you think Stock sucks. Oh wait, maybe I'M the one who has emotional issues???

False logic and chatroom psychology is making my brain hurt or maybe it's YOUR brain that hurts... I'm so confused now

I'm gonna miss Stock on the radio a lot. He brought a unique style that nobody can replace. Tieman is good for the short term, but I hope they find somebody younger and somebody with more...balls, Stock really was a great radio guy. The chemistry with Marinaro was awesome. You could just tell when he was sick of taking calls or when he was sick of speaking to a caller. That was good radio. Hopefully I'll still see him around Hurley's and stuff like that.

Good luck with everything, PJ.

Yeah I like Picard as well (and Stock). Can't listen to Marinaro. It's just one of those things. I really don't get how he's appealing to anyone.

Are you for real? PJ just said it was all a joke and he's not leaving.

I wish he was as entertaining on tv.

If he's really not leaving and it was a joke I'd dislike him even more so. He's always been an immature, media seeking ***** but this would take it to a while new level. It would be like faking your own death to see who would miss you then jumping out from behind a tree and saying it was all a hoax.

Knowing how he is, he probably said it in passing to create more chatter and a buzz around his departure which has had less pages then when White was sent down cuz noone really cares about that hack.

Slip out into the night PJ and don't come back.

If it was a prank, I don't think it was his. I know the style and I think this was dreamed up over drinks last week, and he just went along by not saying much. Notice that Boone got the ball rolling. He's collaborated on some stuff before with a host on 990.

Are YOU for real? Look here: http://www.team990.com/jock/index.php?jock_id=178836&shownode=587&fShowId=37

They added Randy Tieman's bio to the website. He will co-host the Intermission with Tony Marinaro, and will host The Tieman Show from 1-3. Not sure where you heard PJ was staying at The Team, he is not.

If you like Morency, he's got his own site now, and he does an afternoon show every day, and Sportsrage every night. morencysports.com

Does anyone know what exactly happened? Did he actually get fired or did he step down?

It's going to be so ****ing boring with Tieman now... I mean, the guy is nice and all but for ****'s sake, can he be any more passive?
