What the heck is up with all these lower-body injuries? How is the line up gonna look tomorrow?

Purcell has to be the weakest kings player along the boards in recent memory.

It's getting to the point where you have to start wondering if Purcell has dirty pictures of Murray.

Hey Kings fans,

I'm seeing that most of you think Vancouver is a boring hockey team. They're really not. They just played a style that's needed to shut the Kings down. Your team is fast and skilled and if the Canucks try to trade chances with them they'll get burned. It was indeed a boring game but I'm just glad they don't play like that EVERY game.

Colour me a believer in the Kings. Some people think it's fluke you're at the top of the West. Watching the game tonight, and from the other Kings games I've watched, I can see why they're doing so well this season. I can only imagine what it'll be like when Smyth is back!

Most of us are just venting, it would be nice to go up against you guys with a healthy Smyth and Simmonds. Vancouver has become Kryptonite for LA.

I don't mean this in a condescending way, but what did you see out of the Kings tonight that gave you positive feeling about them?

Congratulations on the deserved win. No complains there

But really, how do you feel after spending 3hours of your life watching this game?

I'm thinking a chess game has more highlights than this game had.

Boring game, fell asleep in the 2nd.

I thought Brown was pretty good just watching the 1st and 3rd (chuckled at the hit on Glass). Kopitar was invisible. Actually, I don't think Vancouver played a better game then the kings. It could have went either way but the special teams is what did you guys in.

Ref was inconsistent, the linesman just can't get out of the way

Man I'd be pissed if I had to watch this entire game and lose. I did pay for PPV last game, waste of money

Oh yeah, one of the few entertaining part was Samuelsson and Doughty battle, I'm not sure if you guys saw but it was hilarious. Doughty is a stud, this game just made me see that he plays a hard physical style too. But seriously, that play was funny

... It wasn't a boring game at all. Saying the Canucks played like the '99 Devils is ignorant. Back then, there was FAR more obstruction and holding, not to mention two line passes were illegal.

The Kings had chances, they just didn't convert them because A) Luongo played well, and B) the Kings just missed the net trying to take the perfect shot. Vancouver did a good job of preventing outnumbered attacks and holding on to the puck. They moved it around really well, and at times that prevented the Kings from making proper line changes. They also cycled the puck well in the Kings' zone, keeping it 200 feet from danger. That's just solid hockey as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, cause those Devils teams had a player in second place in scoring and another one well over a PPG, right?

True. . But just as boring to watch.

I thought they changed the rules after the lockout so we wouldn't see games like this anymore.

Wrong channel dude.

I would accept a blowout loss in this game more than this ugly game.

Quickly someone tell a good joke please.

Jarret Stoll suffered a groin injury in the third period, according to both Stoll and Terry Murray after the game. You might remember that Stoll also had a groin injury last month. There is no immediate timetable for Stollís return.

Vancouver just owns us. I think it's mostly because Luongo is in our heads.

Glad we won't face them in Vancouver again this regular season.

I think we'll get a better effort tomorrow as long as we have enough healthy bodies to ice a team.

I don't remember Stoll missing too many (was it two?) games last time. Hopefully this injury is no more severe and he's back on boxing day.
