He went from two superhero chances and getting a goal to an endless stream of bad giveaways, closing the night with an injury.

I've never seen a player go downhill so fast during a single game.

Leaf fan coming in peace.

Looks like he got injured when Stajan fell and tried to get up, then Fisher gave him a shot and sent him into the side of Spezza's knee. Hopefully Spezza isn't out too long, his goal was pretty nice.

I thought we were trading him...
With all these reported 'injuries', one can never bee too certain.

As awful as he's been this season, I would NOT want to lose him for more than a few weeks. I have a bad feeling about it.

exactly, a couple of games probably wouldn't be that big of a deal, but any longer would suck. Even though he hasn't put up any points lately he is still a threat out there, and the opposition still has to pay attention to him.

So fisher injures Leclaire with a puck (when he was starting playing well in goal) and not pushes Stajan on Spezza's foot (when Spezza is starting scoring.

I know what he's doing now, he wants the spotlight to himself

Spezza looks to em like he's been playing hurt all year, so maybe some rest is what is required. Same goes for Kuba, he's fighting the puck big time.

It's unfortunate because hes been playing really well the last two games. One thing I notice is hes been the best guy at winning offensive one draws to get a good shot on net. For the two games he played with Kovalev and the last game with about 5 seconds he won the draw right onto Kovalev's stick for a quick shot on goal.

I think a high ankle sprain is about 6-8 weeks, but apparently it takes alot longer then that to fully heal. A couple years ago Crosby suffered one in January and I believe came back in March, and Miller went through the same thing last year as well.

Clouston: Spezza suffered serious right knee injury. We won't know the extent until further tests.
