I haven't seen you call for a win yet. Why is that?

Do you have any more from this year? Careful, I will be checking.

I recall oilersfan11 predicting some wins as well. At least he wants his team to win, unlike some posters here.

Rod skipped the road trip and went to Phoenix to relax. Bob took over for the stretch.

Rod should be back for tonight and the rest of the home stand.

So, according to the Oilers site Pat Quinn stated that the team may dress seven defencemen and 12 forwards vs. the Kings. That makes me nervous, I'd much rather see Brows just get pulled out of the lineup for Grebs.

No kidding. I've been waiting for Grebs to get back in so that he could replace brows. Every time he gets pinned in our zone it's so hard to watch.

its awfully quiet around here.... i hope theres a good feed for this game otherwise i will have to study for my 9 am final, and nobody wants that.

p.s., who the hell is brows? (i'm assuming it must be strudwick based on the hate, but i don't know why that nickname applies?)

I am sooooo jealous of Rod for skipping town during this deep freeze.

I woke up to a flat tire early this morning and the whole time I'm thinking, "Why the hell don't I live somewhere on Earth where tires don't go flat because of the cold?"

Once I was back on the road I'm thinking, "Hockey tonight!"

Then I remembered why I live here. Cheers.

yeah, man... stortini has huge eyebrows, but he is playing fairly well... what the hell are we talking about?

i guess struddy has that kind of angled eyebrow look he can give accentuating his browy features.

he is due for a break anyway, he is probably too old to play that many straight games. if he gets to sit for a while he will probably come back a lot stronger.

I usually close my eyes and think positive thoughts any time the play is near him.

They are angled and so it always looks like he is shocked or angry or something.

Watching the feed for Pens Flyers right now and it says that Oilers Kings will be on after. Feed is really good. Not choppy for me at all.

http://www.justin.tv/loo_loo_man

edit : ok maybe a little tiny bit choppy, nothing extreme. Not like another one of the games recently

On nights like tonight, new arena complexes get their foundations built. Fans, communities, cities with voters willing to be impressed will become convinced to help finance predictable hometown winners.

When the home team delivers that ultimate cold shoulder to a tired visiting teams by coldcocking them right out of the gate and pouring it on until they slink away defeated and miserably beaten (as should be the case), ordinary fans become fanatics!

Doing so during the harshest of times when fans must make a concerted effort to show up is when a franchise achieves a true revitalization. Willingness to invest in a team that makes it truly worth it to support them and bear the extreme chill and overcome cold-hearted gloom soars when the home team transforms a tougher way of life into a heartier way to stay warm & happy.

GO OILERS GO ! ! !
