alright, i'm taking this back into my hands. wings\preds, GDT, 4-17

it's worked in the past. last game was our mulligan. time to get back to work. we worked out a system that seems to give the wings fits...but we have to STICK TO IT!

unfortunately, i won't be viewing this game until about 1130 pm, due to work...so you might not hear from me for a while(have to avoid the score, after all) but i'll be thinking of us.

C'mon Preds! Let's force a game 7. No one expected us to last this long, remember? We were "just happy to be here." We've shown the league what we can do, let's get back to it.

The GEC will be rockin'!

I hope the Wings can come out like they did in game 5, but I can assure you that the Predators are going to come out pumped up and ready to play. So, the Wings have to try that much harder to defeat the Predators in 6 games instead of 7!

Let's go Red Wings! No predictions, just a 60-minute game from Detroit!

Just a quick question to Predator fans: Why is it that a lot of your chants end with "SUCK"?

I think they are kind of funny myself. Rather than just mindlessly chant a goalie's name, we tell him he sucks and its all his fault :lol I think it reallllllly took Legace off his game.

We're all uneducated hicks, so "suck" is as high as our limited vocabulary can go...

This is it. Game 6, down 2-0 at home, in the last period of regulation play. We can sit back, and watch Detroit pass the puck around and take penalties on us, or we can rise above our poor shooting accuracy, bad passing, and all other woes and say, "I will put the this puck in the net!" Via Vladimir Orszagh style with a face off the post, or whatever, we just have to get it in. Cujo is bound to give it up, he is begging to give it away when he is handling it. Lets go boys, don't be satisfied with where we are, GO GET IT!

Well - that certainly sucked. 2-0 Detroit final.

But what an awesome season for the Preds, taking Detroit to 6 games was only more icing on the cake. I can't wait for next year, and next year's playoffs - Erat, Hartnell, Hall, Hamhuis (who have all been amazing in this series) with a year of playoff experience. This team can ONLY go up. Upshall, Shishkanov coming up next year hopefully - the sky is the limit.

Here's hoping the offseason is a productive one, with the signing of Sullivan to an extension and a good draft. Hopefully Zidlicky can get his injury (I think we pretty much unanimously figured out it was a concussion) healed up and come back next year for an even better sophomore campaign. I can't wait to see Tootoo's sophomore campaign as well, he looked real impressive in the playoffs and is only going to get better. He'll be the Pred's Draper/Maltby, only more physical.

While the game hardly turned out the way I wanted it to, I loved to hear about how the Preds had coins made up saying "No excuses" - I loved to look at how "No excuses" was painted in the locker room and hearing that they had a couple of those coins frozen in the ice. GEC was amazing in the playoffs, and I feel even more confident of the team's future in Nashville .. Winnipeg blows.

What an amazing series, what an amazing year .. Let's go Preds!!

Even though your team beat out my Oilers I wanted to commend them on a great run. Actually, the run in the playoffs wasn't that great, but they still took the Wings to 6 games, and even making the playoffs was a suprise to almost everyone.

Congrats on a great season!

Congrats on a great season by the Predators. Hopefully for them, they can build on this playoff appearance.

It took the Wings a while, but they are finally starting to look like the Red Wings I am used to seeing.
