If Jim Dolan's money was unlimited.

Drury and Rozsival. If need be, Redden as well (though his play doesn't deserve it, his contract could be better used elsewhere).

Who would get the C instead of Drury? It'd have to be Gaborik...but obviously this'll never happen.

None. Despite their obscene salaries the team is better with each of them then without them.

Yup Gabby. When we need a goal you can actually see him turn it up a notch to try to get it.

Unfortunately I don't know what is going on with the bench or lockeroom(and dont prentend to like some people with "speculation") so i just go by what players leads by example.

Drury can't be moved unless he ok's it, Reddens play may be better but his Contract suks. Rozival is just horrible. I have 2 vote for all 3.

Drury has the most absurd productivity/salary ratio of all of them, so I voted him.

ok well for one, even if Dolan's money which is unlimited, which it may as well be, you can only have $10mil of cap tied up in the AHL under the CBA if I'm not mistaken.

For two, Drury has a full NMC. It's amazing that some people still don't realize this, know this, and/or ignore it when making posts.

they were a lot worse when Drury was out with his concussion.

And I also don't know why this thread is popping up NOW, Roszy and Dru both had solid games; Roszival sprung two odd-man rushes/breakaways with beautiful passes, looked very confident out there (for once)...hopefully that isn't ruined by ignorant boos reigning from the crowd.

putting these guys in Hartford this season makes no sense whatsoever. You need to send them down before the season starts and use that money elsewhere.

Thats the key.

Blank cap space doesnt = better team. you need to spend that money intelligently.
with all that said, if you are asking, are we a better team with 1 or all of those guys in Hartford, id say no. none of those 3 are a detriment to the club per-se. they arent costing us games because of their poor play, they are not producing offensively which is hurting the team. there is a difference.

Marek Malik, Sandis Bozolinsch, Ryan Hollweg...these are guys who genuinely hurt the team with their horrendous play, and the team was better just to have these guys off the roster. IMHO there are no players on this team that fit that bill, where just subtracting them makes us better.

With that said, I would assign all 3 to Hartford next season if it were possible, and offer Kovalchuk 10 years, 10 million a season, and Semin a monster contract as well, and fill in around them with kids.

Kotalik would be sent down/traded too.

They should waive redden and Rosy after this year. Drury cant be waived but they should see if he would waive his ntc or consider buying him out.

Is that true...I heard something about there being a 10 million dollar cap but I have never seen it confirmed

It's popping up now because one game doesn;t wipe away the total body of work put in over the last year+.

Both players have screwed the pooch for the last year and a half. Neither should be on this team right now.
