Oilers dominated the 2nd and 3rd, JDD has to make that save even if there was traffic.

Quick got lucky that Souray shot hit the post, he was totally beat.

Brown with a horrible dive, the refs fall for it.

We were destined to lose this one. They lost in style at least.

And what can you say about Dustin Brown. Tisk tisk

Still, I'd take a powerplay late in the game when you're trailing.

That's a kick in the junk.

Oh well, can't expect to keep coming back every time they give up an early lead. The Oilers continue to be the remedy for ailing scorers, Brown gets his 2nd in 18 games and O'Donnell gets his 1st since Christ was a carpenter's aid.

Penner, once again, was awesome tonight. Deserved better.

so much for Quinn and his 'I want to roll 4 lines' philosophy.

Really didn't like Quinn's use of players on the PP.

Hemsky might frustrate some of you guys, but he is our best player at gaining the zone on the PP with control. In his absence, we need to get Visnovsky on the 1st unit, because he is the only other player on the team that can skate it into the zone with success.

Also I have no idea why he matched Horcoff and Penner up

I hope Gags isn't injured. I swear the Kings player looked like a missle on that hit.

Oilers got robbed - what a dive to send Horc to the box - disgusting. Good effort from the boys - can't win 'em all. GOIL !!

Also I am noticing a trend - when POS is limited ice time, that's when the boys start to come back.

Well when you have Jacques looking like he belongs in the AHL minus his hitting and O'Sullivan looking like he was purposely making bad passes and bad dumps what are you going to do.

Despite his early blunder, Grebeshkov provided a ton of great puck movement. If Cogliano had any sort of shot or if Nilsson had any kind of scorer to play with we win this game. Still don't understand why we don't go with an All in Power play.

Visnovsky - Souray - Penner - Brule - Gagner.

The Oilers dominated the best team in the west. I'll take this loss.

Brown should join the Olympic diving team. JDD needs to make that clutch save too.

Why aren't Souray and Lubo together on the top PP unit?

Nice dive by Brown to save the day. Easily 10/10 -- he just dropped like a rock, like got shot.

February 26, 2008 - Last time the Oilers tied a game up with the goalie pulled.

It's been 133 games since they did it last time.

We lost this game for one reason and one reason only: Our Powerplay is comically pathetic. It is by far the worst I've seen in the NHL. Even the most inefficient PP's in this league are able to.. I don't know... Set it up in the zone for longer than 5 seconds?

The post game comments should be focused completely on the fact that they need to get their heads out of their ***** on the PP, and they need to do it now.

No way are the Kings are the best team in the West, I don't care what their record says.

They are lucky that Penner didn't get 2 or 3 goals tonight.

Our PP has to be way better though.

Quinns use of the bench was very questionable once again. I have to think that Renny would do a much better job.

Great but how many calls were missed where we could have done something on one of the missed calls? Just because we wont 0-3 doesnt mean we wouldnt have scored on any of the other ones

I thought it was the right move. Down a goal, with a period left and 3 lines playing well, throwing out Stortini and Co. is probably not the right way to go.
