Pavel Brendl is somehow rated the same as Mike Fisher and Antoine Vermette in NHL 10.

Kyle Turris?!? I forgot his guy existed.

If I had to guess his value would be similiar to a high draft pick in say...2010. He still has a lot of developing to do. Then consider what the value of a high draft pick in a solid draft year is worth..

EA Sports is all knowing. Brendl is finally going to break out for real this year.

Saw him play against the Oilers last night and he looked great!

Glad to hear you were impressed with him. He's going to be a huge reason why we either make or miss the playoffs this season.

Not bad, if you ask me.... and I left Cogs/O'Sullivan out of the line-up... opps.
I'm not sure If I missed something but where are Hall and Hemsky?

Look at the date he did those in Dec last year when Hemsky was done for the year and Hall was still with Windsor.

If Phoenix was still looking to move Turris (if they ever were) I think the Canucks should go hard after him, but without giving up Hodgson. Maybe Schroeder and a 1st.

I wouldn't think twice about including Hodgson as part of a package for Turris.

True, but keep in mind Turris is effectively replacing Lombardi on the team, who had 53 points last season. I'm optimistic about Turris, but I'm not going to kid myself into thinking he's a lock to have a good year.

Give us Bobby Ryan and we'll throw in the popular HF equalizer... a 2nd round pick.

Yes, but don't forget there's a 2nd round draft pick to make it fair.

now that someone bumped this thread for some reason I can ask this question without creating a thread: i saw that boedker, and tikhonov got sent down to the ahl, but not turris, is this guy finally ready for the big time? and in a top 6 role?

He has made the team, more or less. The question is whether or not he can live up to Tippets expectations with regards to defense and effort. Kyle has a heart of gold and loves hockey, which is the polar opposite of say... Peter Mueller. I don't think he will have any problems.

He has made the team. Wellwood has been released. The question is will he get the minutes he needs to excel?

How about Laraque being an 80 overall in NHL 11 and Naslund as well as Forsberg being 76 and 73 respectively??? I think there is no contest!
