Two more Washington prospects make the WJCs. Impressive prospect depth for a top Eastern team.

I wonder why they didn't consider Avtsin. He was one of the faces of the MHL after dominating the junior league last year. Has played 20 games already on a stacked Dynamo team in the KHL and has more points than a lot of the KHL juniors invited. Oh well maybe next year.

How many prospects do the Caps have on the announced and preliminary rosters?

Burmistrov

Hello,

I'll be cheering for Canada, but I hope Alexander Burmistrov plays really well. I think a strong showing could get him into the top 10 in the draft...

Best,
Shawn

Off the top of my head,

Russia: Kugryshev, Orlov
Canada: Della Roverre
USA: Carlson
Sweden: Johansson (captain)

There may be someone else. Plus Cody Eakin was one of the final cuts for Canada.

Why do you think that Kadri will be their player to watch?
Burmistrov: "It’s evident. He doesn’t depend on anyone."

Lol, he knows Kadri pretty well.

Sounds like a good kid. Interesting what he said about Kadri vs. Hall.

And kudos to you to Alessandro for a great site.

Totally False

Cornet was released to try out for Canada and he plays for Rouyn too.

First line Filatov-Burmistrov-Tarasenko (?)
Kitsyn and Petrov may be together on the same line since they played like that during the subway series.

Ostapchuk probably still doesn't have citizenship yet. That's why he didn't play at U-18 a few years back.
