Seriously, the kid went through some really bad stuff. I hope that is able to put his problems behind him. I can't say I know much about the personal lives of many players, but POS may be the unluckiest person to play for the Kings during the 'lean years'
He could have made himself the cornerstone of the franchise. Instead He wanted to hold out, complain about icetime, and not battle. He's not unlucky. He reaped what He sowed.
All I have to say is that opportunity is what you make of it. I don't think anyone is questioning his potential to produce points if he's given minutes and good linemates. But there's a long distance between that and O'Sullivan making an impact in this league.
