What about Bobby Ryan? Apparently, negotiations between him and the Ducks have been put on hold until the end of the season. I know we already have a lot of young talent, but can you really have too much?

However, the issue now becomes who will we have to give up. Johnson would not be moved, Oshie would most likely not be moved, and I hope Perron would not be moved. But, you do have to give talent to get talent.

Unfortunately, I think Anaheim would push for either Oshie or Perron to be included in the deal to replace Ryan at forward.

I think if we could secure Ryan at a reasonable price it would be a huge plus. He is a more proven talent than the young guys we have now, with the possible exception of Johnson. And Ryan's salary next year would probably only be in the range of 5-6 million, much more tolerable than taking on Stahl's or Kovalchuk's salary.

Rangers fan here... After all of the talk about trading Eric Stella for Doobinskee, I decided to watch your game toinght. All I can say is: Wow, are you guys seriussly underating Doobinskee. I don't think that Stella for Doobinskee strayt up is even fair. I think that we could do this:

To NYR:

Erik Stella
Joanna Pytcanyn
Chad LaRosa

To CAR:

Brandon Doobinskee
Donald Bradshear

Not only would this give you instant goals, but also some much needed muscle on the team. Also without Stella and Joanna to hold you back, you could go on a deep playoff run this year...

Rangers are taking on too much salary back. Also, Dubisnky is untouchable.

Counter-proposal:

To NYR:
Erik Stall
Joanna Pitkennin
Ryan Whitney
2nd
3rd

To CAR:
Wayne Reddin
Rozy
Chris Drurury
Ryan Callohohan
5th

Hurricanes dump Stall's salary and get rid of a bad defenseman in Pitkennin who has been a major disappointment. In exchange, they get two elite top-pairing defensemen in Reddin/Rozy who would be sure to improve their defense (Rangers only are parting with them because of their salaries--they really are amazing), a clutch first line center in Druruy and a future star in Callohohan. The Rangers really don't need a defenseman like Ryan Whitney coming back (they have great prospects who can replace Reddin/Rozy), but they'll take him back in the deal to help ease some of the salary burden on the 'Canes.

Thoughts?

Well, I forgot in my propozal to include the goalie swap. Lundqvista sucks. You can have him.

I've heard a rumor that your color man on tv has played the position. What are the chances we could include him? Obviuosly the Canes are high on him...

The Rangers were down 3-1 heading into the third period against the Flyers.

Did they fold? No. Dubinsky, Rozsival, and Callohohan led them to a comeback and Captain Clutch Chris Drury topped it off by by scoring the GWG with 37 seconds left in regulation (assisted by Dubinsky, of course).

The three stars were as follows:

As usual, Torts leaned heavily on his superstars:

Dubinsky, Rozsival and Callohohan all shined tonight as the Rangers defeated the Penguins 7-0.

Dubinsky completed his hat trick late in the third period after back-handing a rebound him after Fleury stopped in him on a 2-on-1. Callohohan was unable to score a hat trick and was sternly criticized for his poor performance in Tortorella's post-game press conference.

The person I was playing against online must have thought I was crazy for quadruple-shifting Dubinsky, Rozsival and Callohohan. As usual, though, I won.

Dubinsky

for

Entire Hurricanes and Checkers roster

Too little? I will add a 2nd in 2013 to even it out for the Rangers.

I dreamed about Brandon Dubinsky and Michal Rozsival last night.

The details are too explicit to mention here.

They are....amazing.

I'd do this deal just for Valleen and the 2nd. With Ray Ray gone, we desperately need someone to hide behind Tripp in the pre-game show and Valleen would a perfect guy for that role. I think that alone is worth his salary, not to mention his nice smile and clutch OT goals.

With the cap space the Hurricanes free up, they could probably acquire someone like Ryan Malone, Chris Kunitz or BRAD STAUBITZ. With a guy like BRAD STAUBITZ on the first line with Brandon Sutter and Erik Cole, the Hurricanes would be really tough to play against, y'all.

Hey guys, I've been thinking about this trade all day long, I think it could really fix all the problems we have.

Here it is:

To KHL: Mark Stall, Ruutoo

To Carolina: Jaromir Jagr, KHL 3rd in 2012, Brandon Dubinsky, Michal Rozsival

To NYR: Joanna Pitkennin, Erik Stall

what you guys think?

I legit just got offered Hossa for Skinner+ 1st or "erik stall" in a mock place.

The guy literally said "erik stall" and was not joking.
