I agree, but I hope the players don't resign themselves to that kind of thinking. I want them to go for blood in the shootout. That's right, I want to see a fight from a shootout!

Why did Jim Jackson say we would lose our point if the Penguins scored once we pulled Boucher? Never heard of this rule before, anyone have an explanation?

Win or lose, gotta love how the Penguins can do virtually anything they want without getting a penalty. Total BS. Remember their OT powerplay last season (playoffs no less)? Yeah, we should have had one right there, but of course they find a way to even it up

Nothing but good this game. Surprised. Going to shootout now.

The call on Carcillo was criminal...he gave him a shove and then got speared.

I can understand the let 'em play with Giroux, but a spear and an invented penalty on Carcillo is a joke.

If you pull the goalie in OT and you get scored on you lose the extra point. This happened once to the Kings in 2004-ish

Sid putting his special shootout tape on his stick?

I want to see Giroux in the shootout. And Briere. And maybe JVR.

Agreed, but they HAVE to build on it. Its been awhile since they've played 2 solid games in a row.

How much do the Flyers have to pay the refs to get calls in their favor?

Obviously more than the Penguins do.

If you pull your goalie in overtime and get scored on, you lose your OT point.
