First few SOG are usually important for a goalie who hasn't played in a while. I hope he gets some early easy chances.
We watched Barbs in warmups before the Sharks game, and he definitely looked out of sorts.

It's just a treat to watch Yandle skating into the offensive zone, great goal.

Mueller scratched again?! I'm so over this. The guy could be as integral as Boedker and Turris, but were just going to let him rot in the pressbox? I'm almost to the point of trading him. :/

Jackets picked up a lot of momentum in the later part of the period there. Gotta come out stronger to start the 2nd.
Btw, what happened with the Jackets, haven't followed their injuries or issues. IIRC they started out of the gate strong the first 10 to 15 games this season?

Mason has been brutal this year. Not sure if it's him or the defense, but both he and Garon are giving up >3 goals a game. Their PK has also been poor.

I wouldn't put much into tonight's scratch. Yotes played a great game last night and the reward is to send out the same guys.

I liked Bisson's fight. He is a warrior.

Yep, we look completely out of synch. lucky to even make it to OT. Reffing has been brutal both ways as well.

I'll take the point. I couldn't get this dumb sopcast to work, but from the sounds of it, we are running on empty right now. Happy with 1, the second would be a bonus.

Well we got 1 point scoring 1 goal with barbs in net. I'd say that's a success. Lets make it 2 for a great success.

I don't feel too confident with the Barb 1 on 1 in shootouts... I REALLY hope I am wrong.

Nice game by Babs, he looked a bit shakey early but has been solid throughout.

Victory! Yes Doan and Lang get the job done. Barbs has his best game as a Coyote. Ugly game, but we came away with 2 points again. Awesome.

A Duck victory over the Sharks tonight, and we are only 1 pt behind them. Oh who to cheer for in the Calgary-Kings game....
