I hope that the team can get over the fact that it is a PPV game against the Preds and put in some effort. The last PPV games against them have been beyond horrible.
Don't worry I was getting around to it, i was just trying to see if i could work Chris Hansen into it, but I guess I'll just have to settle with JASON ARNOTT I AM CRUSHING YOUR HEAD!

They have a 11-1 win loss against us. I just hope the only reason why is Barry Trotz out coached MacT.

I think I helped my buddy win a grand last year, telling him no matter how hot or cold each team was, the Oilers would lose in one way or another.

Is that the actual lineup? Looks like what we rolled with during our winning stretch but that sure isn't what we iced last game.

It's Christmas. I need some presents. Oiler wins would be just fine thank you very much.

How the heck can they be 9 points ahead of us? That is just outstanding. Well, for them. For us it just kinda sucks dog turds. lol

Go Oilers.

Tencer and Oiler's twitter say the lines are the same as Tuesday. Nilsson and Stone are centered by Horcoff; O'Sullivan and Jacques join Stortini on a line.

I agree with Harley. I don't think that's the lineup we'll see tonight. I think it's pretty safe to say that O'Sullivan hasn't done anything to move himself off the 4th line at the moment when you listen to the latest comments from Quinn.

The Preds have brought a tenacious fore-check against us that is responsible for an 11 - 1 record against us. Our execution under pressure has been terrible in the past.

We're a bit better now, but the Oil still leave a lot to be desired. The bang and crash we brought last game is our ace in the sleeve.

We need a win or otherwise Quinn's head might explode.

Oilers 3-1
Sully with a goal and a PP assist

Ethan Moreau is sick and questionable for tonight.
So perhaps those of you who think he's holding the Potulny - Cogliano line back will get a chance to see your theory in action. I'd imagine Strudwick would come in on the 4th line and Jacques or O'Sullivan would move on up.

Can anyone tell me if you get the oilers PPV games on center ice in the east?
Or is ppv not included in the package?

You get them on CI in the east. Probably the Nashville feed though.

Stauffer says Moreau is most likely out with the flu.

Don't know why everyone is glad Moreau is out.

I harp on him as much as anybody, but he's been a lot better over the last 10 games. The Oilers will actually miss his presence tonight imo.

It's really quite insane that the Predators find themselves with a 20-11 W/L record in regulation. Every year they lose personnel, every year they're supposed to finish in the conference basement and every year Trotz gets those guys to reach deep.

I dont know. Nashville has been around a while now. They havent done hardly anything to get excited about. If they were our team we would have turned our backs on them long ago.

Yup, we'll miss his 3rd period penalties. Don't worry, Horcoff'll pick up the slack.

Just for that snide comment, I'm going to overload this thread with YT videos.
