Why yes 40oz, Corb Lund is singing the anthems as well as a song called "The Oil's Back in Town" which is available on iTunes with profits going to the Oilers community foundation.

Quote:
"I wrote this song a few years ago because I love the Oilers, I'm really excited that the team wants to associate themselves and their Foundation with it,” said Corb Lund. “It makes me feel a bit like a kid again, frankly! I grew up watching them play and there's nothing like the Oilers energy that buzzes around Edmonton every winter. I'm thrilled to be part of it and glad it will help people here through the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation."

The coach hands everyone their skates in a bag. Then he's skates them fullout until someone pukes in their bag. Well that's the way I did it. But those six year olds were big babies and their parents complained.

What's wrong with sending the Russian down to the minors for conditioning and letting him do his roullete routine down there until he gets his timing back. Heck he could take Gags with him and they could work on stretch passing and getting some grit into their games.

Yeah, because this team would definitely be better without Gagner playing with Penner and Brule.

I'd take Stone or Potulny on that line every shift!

So does anyone know if they are wearing their retro jerseys tonight or their boring blue ones? Hubby and daughter want to wear the right Jerseys to the game.

Go Oilers, I unfortunately am taking this opportunity without the kids to do the rest of my Christmas shopping. YUCK!

Oh and my prediction. I think that we'll see a 4-3 game, oilers in a shootout... Goals from POS, penner, gagner, gilbert.

So what's the over/under on how much time the PPV feed will be screwed up during the game tonight?

By screwed up I mean: no picture, no sound, choppy feed, etc. I'm guessing.....9 minutes total during the broadcast.

Your problem and Sam's problem is collectively you have so little to disagree with. A centerboy playing with men, an offensive guy with little threat. A SO specialist with nothing special delivered. Time for this dudette to get toughened-up in the minors. E'nuff said...
