At least Garon got us a point, can you say the same for the last game?

Less then 2 goals a game in the last 4, you can't win playing like that

But, we have to play that way. That's Hitch Hockey. And Blue Jackets Hockey is Hitch Hockey.

Yeah, if we keep racking up those random OT losses in between regulation losses, we might finish 12th in the West instead of 13th.

Well, I guess when you're playing Tyutin on the 1st power play line, why wouldnt you put him in the shootout. I know the whole cliche with Hitch is Defense, but really. Pathetic

LaBarbera only has 2 wins this season? Well, guess what team those 2 wins are against...

They played decent for 10 minutes, they did absolutely nothing to show they deserved 2 points.

The finishing on this team is pathetic.

Good enough for the 10th overall pick in the draft. I hope a Russian falls to us.

So, you want to win games 6-4 eh... no track meets allowed in Hitch land.

I think they said it was his first game since the 14th of Nov. Nothing like the Jackets to knock the rust off ya

So, can Hitch go for 2 regulation wins in 20 games?

Not that I agree with Hitch hockey in the least (see every other post I've typed in the last 2 months ) but with a slightly different bounce here or there, they could easily have won this. Unlike most "Hitch style" games, the boys actually had almost 40 shots. You are right however; the finishing by the Jackets is just horrible.

Beginning to think Hitch hockey only works when he's got a stud in goal. Witness Eddie Belfour, Manny Fernandez (both at Kalamazoo and Dallas) and last year's version of Steve Mason.

Agreed, the Jackets did put forth effort to win this one... But book this, when we are at home with a 1-1 tie the team has problems. This team needs to drop Hitchcock's hopes of winning every game with 2-1 scores-it isn't working now anymore than it worked in Philly after the lockout.

Any team in the league can beat us if they simply pass and skate around our useless trap...
