Need to win this game. We're getting close to an extended slump.

I expect the following tonight:

1) Guillaume to come out of the gates flying, hitting, shooting until his energy is all but gone, I can see him standing in front of the net on every offensive chance to prove to Montreal that he listened to Jacques Martin but could not do it here.

2) A mixed crowd, some cheering him when he touches the puck and some boo-ing, overall I don't see the crowd playing a factor in anything though.

3) Guillaume trying every which way to score!

I love the fact that this game is on TSN so that I don't have to listen to Brunet cry over his boy toy Guillaume get traded!

Can't wait because I am dying to get out of the office today after a rough morning.

Wild are 8-2 since Guillaume started playing for them, pretty crazy run

Anyways I don't expect the fans to boo,he didn't ask to be moved or signed elsewhere and I just think most fans will actually cheer for him.

Like you said I think he gives it all to try and score and the coach and all will use him as much as possible,pp and all and even play with the big guns Koivu and Havlat.

And yes not listening to RDS especially tonight was a must, thank you TSN

PS.How many caps over/under if Lats gets a hat trick?

TSN is playing the game?? Noooice!!

As for the hats, give or take I'd say 12.

My question for the game is, does Martin square of Lapierre with Latendresse? And if so, can you see Lapierre running over Lats? If this happens, I will take back any negative thoughts on Max.

Habs win 3-2 in the shootout.

Lats is back. The boards at the Bell Centre better watch out because he loves to hammer them with thundering body checks. I'm not sure what they did/said to him but he has always had it out for the boards, should probably be called for charging on some of his board checks. Maybe he got shipped out because Gainey had to choose one or the other since they couldn't get along and he felt the boards were more important... I dunno. Either way, I'm looking forward to another round in the epic feud.

I say Laps let's him go unchecked and makes his buddy net the winner and asks for a trade after the game...

For some reason, I expect Lats to get a boatload of penalties tonight... He's gonna be playing like a frantic bulldog. Obviously, this is gonna hurt his team more than anything.

As for the Habs... I just hope they don't embarrass themselves.

A la Komisarek, in the first meeting of the Habs/Leafs this season?

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if this happens.

Any info?I was sure they would have gone back to Halak since Price wasn't very good last night and shaky on the Devils goals.

Also trade freeze tomorrow, start Halak hope for the best and a phone call after the game

To be fair, Price let 1 weak goal but he still made 25 of 27 saves with a 0.926%. We only had 3 shots on net in that 3rd period against NJ!!!! I wouldn't say Halak was any better against Buffalo. He made 23 saves on 27 shots and let in some weak goals with a save percentage of 0.851%!

I think the team in general feels more comfortable with Price in net. He is the one who has stolen a few games. Trust me, we'd be even lower than 10th in conference if it weren't for Price stopping 35+ shots on a regular basis.
