QMJHL Draft Question

Sorry if this is placed in the wrong area, I did a search and could not find much.

What Midget leagues are players drafted out of? How many leagues are there? Any Links to the pages?

Thanks in advance.

I was thinking about going to some of the bigger tournaments next season, what are some of the tournaments that the top teams and players go to? Thanks!

For NB and PEI you gave the Minor Midget AAA links. Here's the NB-PEI Major Midget AAA link,

I believe the Atlantic Champion Moncton Midget Major AAA Flyers had 7 players drafted into the Q last draft.
The Moncton Midget Minor AAA Hawks is a development team for the Flyers and only has players in the 15 and 16 age group.

Thanks for all the responses, I may be moving to Quebec, and I love AAA hockey so I wouldn't mind following the local leagues.

I noticed that the Fog Devils play in a league with two other teams. That is odd.

Are many AA players taken in this draft since there is no true minor midget.

Also, it seems like there are 15,16,17 and 18 year olds all taken every year, is that normal.

Thanks so much!

I see the line of Campbell,Farrell and Morrison from Cape Breton Tradesmen are leading the league. Will them 3 get drafted? Farrell is the only 94 DOB. Other 2 are 93's ? But is Farrell's size going to hurt him he is only 5'6 145 that's tiny.

Durepos and the Saulniers were passed over in the Q draft as 16 year olds but all 3 made the cut as 17's.
I don't think being passed over as 16's is that big a deal for Atlantic Midget Major players if the can improve as 17's.

i think farrell will be ,but ithink the eagles should take a good look at shawn jeffery for the back stop, they better pick him up before another team will, the kid is a 94 dob with alot of tallent at 6'2-6'3 good movement big in the net has all the tools the team that gets him is a winner,i know the tradesmen wish they had him,
