I'm thinking Radim Vrbata is the precedent. They'll try to get him over to Europe on a loan, so they don't have to pay him, or let him eat up ice time in Norfolk.

At any rate, Norfolk isn't that big of a deal, he's still 26, he should have a bit more left in him to develop.

If Scott Jackson's ice time is really that important, they could loan him to another AHL team. Like the Caps did with Nylander.

Just to let you guys know, KryBaby was MIA from the Admirals game last nite... the radio broadcaster had no clue where he was... he arrived with the team to Hartford, didn't take the morning skate nor show up for the game to play or watch as a scratch. (our broadcaster is also the "insider")

Maybe we won't have to pay him.

Look for Lukas Krajicek to be placed on unconditional waivers today, paving the way for contract termination.

During the Admirals game tonight coach Jim Johnson said that KryBaby just packed his backs and left without saying anything to the team... kissed his career good bye basically

I'm relieved he is no longer associated with the Lightning. I doubt he kissed his career goodbye though. He would be perfect in Europe and still make a ton of money.

While that may be true, his career is long from being over.

Lukas Krajicek has cleared unconditional waivers, expect him to wind up back in NHL quickly, Philly perhaps? #TBLightning

I like Mike. I tried to tell Lawton to pick him up via FA, but would he listen, NOOOOOO.
