I think he meant that the type of injury is different. Markov was cut. When it heals, it heals. You cant be "cut" again to aggrave the injury.

A cut achille tendon still need a little bit of rehabilitation. This is not your normal cut where you just put a band aid on it and it's totally healed after a week.

This is why it take so much time for a player to come back from one (IE: Lang , Markov)
