Meant to be more of a compliment than anything - admitting the flyers out-played NYR. Just pointing out that both of our teams definitely suck.

They listed they attendance at 19,637. Sounds like there are about 11,000 people with unused tickets.

I'm not taking anything away from Lundqvist, he was great, but you're just trying to fool yourself if you think he single-handedly won the game for NY.
When we play Fleury, HE steals the game from us almost all the time. Henrik got extremely lucky on positioning in this game. Fleury just makes the most ridiculous saves against us. Henrik, like you said was EXTREMELY beatable.

When Powe gets back, put him where carcillo was, and put carcillo back with Betts and Lappy

Powe has no hands... Its just like Carcillo... I'd rather have Asham on that line rather then Powe and Carcillo.. At least Asham has hands.

That's a smart idea. Until then though I don't see any changes being made.

You guys were the better team tonight. Lundy stole this one for us.

But as I've said before, the Flyers have too much talent to stay down for long you guys will be a top notch squad once Laviolette gets his system going.

Powe can finish, and he can skate much better than Carcillo

Boucher had a .916 save percentage and neither of the goals he allowed should be blamed on him (or, at the very least, solely on him). Another good performance by him wasted by our waste of a team.

There seems to be this myth that Darroll Powe has no hands, that is just not true.

That is the agreement per the CBA. Attendance figure of tickets sold is part of the revenue sharing.

Hartnell should not be allowed to skate with the puck or pass the puck, it always seems to be a disaster when he tries

Surprisingly, Coburn wasn't too bad. It was really Richards and Hartnell. Briere did a lot of hard work, Carter has some awesome shots, JVR did what he was supposed to, Asham had his chances, Gagne had an assist and did well and Giroux was always after the puck. If the whole team was like him, we would be scoring 10 goals a game at least.

I don't even know where to go with this team. Everytime I try to say something specific is wrong, the billion other things that are wrong with them just overtake that one.

For anyone who didn't see:

He basically said the Flyers weren't playing a brand of hockey that anyone could be proud of and that he was embarrassed that they didn't "blow off the hinges" to start this game.

They better be doing bag skates until the snow stops.

I'd like for once, Laviolette to have the balls to do what the US Olympic team did back in the 80's, have them re-Zamboni the ice, and have them do suicides for playing like ass.

Some discipline would go a long way with this team.
