Is this about the snow or the cold streak the Flyers are on?

Why does my house have so much more snow than everyone else's? We were up to 16" when I was last outside (about an hour ago) and it sure hasn't slowed.

Actually, The Weather Channel just walked through the criteria needed to reach blizzard status, and this storm is a blizzard.

Blizzard
(abbrev. BLZD)-
A blizzard means that the following conditions are expected to prevail for a period of 3 hours or longer:

* Sustained wind or frequent gusts to 35 miles an hour or greater; and
* Considerable falling and/or blowing snow (i.e., reducing visibility frequently to less than ¼ mile)
The wind might not quite cut it, but yea this was pretty much a blizzard.

I'd say about 10 inches, give or take, in West Chester. Still coming down too.

Has anyone driven on the highways or anything? Im suppose to go into work tonight, and dont know if I should call out or not. (Its a 24/7 place, so its not the easiest thing to do in calling out.)

I was walking along Lancaster Ave earlier, looked quite the mess, but passable if you're careful. No idea about any of the highways though.

It's hard to tell how much we got out in the country here in SJ some parts you see the grass, other parts are 3 feet high. The wind is wicked and the roads are a mess. I'm sure it wasn't too bad for those who went to the game getting there, but it had to be a ***** getting home.

I was supposed to drive from New York City to South Jersey today (around Atlantic City). Luckily, a friend of mine left long before I did and hit this ridiculous blizzard in Central Jersey. He said that the roads are ridiculous and he is going 5 miles per hour and has a long way to go. Cars are spinning out all over the place as they are driving on about 5-6 inches of snow.

Glad I stayed home.

I've been at my parents house all day (about 1/2 an hour from West Chester), and it's still coming down pretty hard. Some pics from a few hours ago:

I made it down to the Flyers game and back. It was a pretty crappy drive. Especially the way back was bad.
