Cammy used to score some nice One Timers.. but AK has been releasing some bombs lately.. he's challenging Cammy pretty much.

Souray had the mother of all bombs. He broke the glass twice in one game. Goalies live in fear of his shot.

AK looks nice because he's homegrown.

But yes, going back a bit Souray was the man.

I remember one shot of his looked like the moment the puck came off his stick, it bounced out of the net. There was also one he drilled that went through a PKers stick (broke it in half) and still had enough pace to beat the goalie, think that might have been against the Thrashers. Just an unreal shot. And although not a one timer, I remember him shooting the puck down ice from his own blueline and hitting the post, shame that didn't go in.

As for the question, AK for power, Cammy for consistency. All round, if I had to pick one, Cammy edges it for now, but both could still improve further in this regard. Souray wasn't a high scorer until he worked on his shot, those guys can too.

I vote Cammy, especially his one-knee one-timer.

I miss Studly Mcwonderbomb's one-timer as my all-time favorite. I remember a game against Toronto in Montreal where Sheldon teed up a Markov pass right at the blueline and it went into the top corner faster than anything I have ever seen, faster than even MacInnis's shots. I heard the ping sound from the inner post almost simultaneously with slap from his stick, sick, sick, shot he had.

Considering AK whiffs on his 80% of the time, I'll go with Cammalleri.

I remember these, he also could wrist shot the puck faster than I could ever dream to slapshot it. Was a shame he hardly used the wrister because it was deadly and accurate. I don't miss his defensive play but I do miss his bomb and toughness.

I voted 13 because so far in his career he plays a full season, and scores in October and November as well...

Cammy, when he takes that one time with one knee, it looks very manly.
Also I adore his modest celebration aka "I'm not that excited to score because I know I'll score a whole lot more" celebration.

In Soviet Russia, puck put you in net.

Or, not.

Souray's was a bomb.

However, between those two, I'll go with Mike Cammalleri. But AK's is pretty wicked too when he actually shots it and doesn't whiff on it.

Cammalleri for accuracy and consistancy.

How about Bergeron for power.

AK in time could have the best of all world's, but his consistancy needs to improve big time.

AK46 still fan too much on his one timers. Best one timer of last season is definitely the one Kovy made on Thomas in the playoff.

I seem to recall Souray slapping a shot from behind our blue line at the end of a game and scorring on the empty net?

AK definitely has the best overall shot on the team (slap/snap/wrist), once he actually consistently drives the net he could pot 40 easily imo. For one-timmers, Cammy is one of the best in the game, so he wins this one easily imo.

I don't remember that one. The one I'm thinking of, the keeper was still in goal and I think we were going for a line change so Souray drilled it down the ice and the goalie either misplayed it or didn't read it right but it hit his post and bounced to the corner.
