Thanks lang-sk8. I just read TEB's blog. We just pulled over in amarillo for dinner. So I was able to catch up a bit.

With this roster I'd chose the line-up bruce did.

Looking forward to finally watching a game. At least this one should entertain me til dallas.

I like the cut of your jib.

Semin with a big night. Although after last night, I think Ovechkin will come out flying.

Roster freeze is midnight tonight, correct? So I guess Wilson will be sent down beforehand if Laing does fine tonight and Gordon is feeling good enough to go.
Laing had to come off LTIR in order to play and fwiw, a player coming off LTIR allows them to make a move even during the roster freeze, based on my reading of the rule. But the Caps only had 22 players on the active roster by my count before activating Laing, which appears will happen tonight.

2 on IR: Varlamov, Pothier
1 on LTIR: B. Gordon

23 player active roster:

2G: Neuvirth and Theodore

8D: Alzner, Erskine, Green, Jurcina, Morrisonn, Poti, Schultz, Sloan

13F: Backstrom, Bradley, Clark, Fehr, Fleischmann, Knuble, Laich, Laing, Morrison, Ovechkin, Semin, Steckel, Wilson

If they jump out to another 2-0 lead and still try to play attacking hockey with weak legs on the road I'm going to rip off my sat radio reciever and throw it at the nearest hillbilly.

There was a dead 'dillo on the road about 60 miles ago but I think that hillbilly I'm about to hit with my reciever got it first.

Excited to watch the game, tho these back to backs have been known to be heart breakers for us. Two things i'm already tired of, Theos goaltending, which just looks like hes diving and falling, and spinning all over the place. Second is these 10 pm games!

Lets go caps! im gonna go 4-2 caps, ovie with two because he needs to pick up the slack, and maybe semin and or backstrom with the other two.

Freaking idiots in houston who changed our oil and prep'd our car for "mountains" put a water-wash mixture in window fluid.

It froze outside of new mexico and our check engine light was on the entire time. F'rs!

Thought I'd briefly bring back a common theme from last night: these 10pm games are killing me :-/. Gonna watch anyway, unless I pass out on the couch.

Oh I agree it makes sense that they will send Wilson down tomorrow if Laing plays, esp. with the next game not until Wed. Still wait and see mode to see if that is what they do. (edit: as I understand it, if injuries require a call-up, they are allowed during the roster freeze)

Hopefully Deslauriers (26 career NHL games) is a little star struck facing Ovechkin, Semin, Green, etc. And if they score early he might be extra rattled.

"Oil can. Oil can"

Hopefully they cannot.

Maybe our D could use a Tinordi type.
