Someone in here losted about one a few months ago but i like this one better .... I could use one of those and am going to go buy the junk to make it soon now that I saw this.
My next project was going to be making a new locker stall for my gear. Might still do that if I have time. Always seems to get pushed back. Has anyone else built one?
Well, I ended making an octopus - not a tree. Took a tie organizer that I can hang from a closet dowel (5 bucks at Lowes) and added a bunch of bungee's of different lengths. Make sure the bungees have metal hooks and not plastic, and simply bend the metal hook closed once it's where you want it on the tie organizer.
Hangs in garage from my pullup bar and can hold all my gear. I originally thought of making a tree, but I figured the octopus would have better air flow since there's no PVC tubing involved.
That's a great idea! I usually drape all my stuff over my mountain bikes, lawn mowers or anything else I can find. I put my gloves and skates in front of a box fan to dry them because I play so frequently.
Forgot to mention - made one for my son's gear and it's handy since we have to travel all over for his games and the home made octopus is easily stuffed into his bag for use at hotels..
Housekeeping doesn't mind the smell..... much.. heh

I should make one for one of my teammates. His gear stinks SO BAD. I try to avoid sitting within a couple of people from him.
I just thought of this, if i made one out of PVC it would be thin enough in the base to fit in the tub since i wash off my stuff with the shower head after every game and let hang dry.
