Srsly. Pando makes $1M more than them combined. They're better offensively and are just as effective on the PK.

There were more vomit gifs coming out of the woodwork than I thought existed in the universe when "Cliff" was signed... Not nearly enough crow to go around.

The end is nigh.

Nice blanket statement.

I wasn't against the Lemaire signing when the majority was, whereas I was totally against the Niedmybrother signing, I genuinely thought he was done. I watched a lot of Ducks hockey last season, and he looks a thousand times better this season.

I still can't stand seeing Niedermayer on a jersey, that isn't numbered #27. Whatever, I'll take the good play for now, I still don't think it will hold up.

Really? I'm pretty sure he's said plenty of positive things and he's definitely not a fake fan!

FAIL TWINS DE-ACTIVATE! And please never question my fandom. I'm hardcore. I sit next to CJ. She can vouch for me. I love this team and I think right now, even though there is a lot of season left, this team has a realistic shot this year at the whole thing. I didn't feel that the past 2 years but this year I just have that feeling.
So he hates Rob Nieds...I'm sure there's plenty of players that you guys have hated that you won't change your opinions. Me + Gomez = Pure hatred since day 1.

It is what it is and no one should be questioning his fandom.

Seriously, not the guy you want to be messing with considering he's a friend of mine.

And just an FYI - I also am not a fan of Niedmybrother! And I'm hoping the only reason he's here is so Lou can entice SCOTT back!!

So suck on that one for a while my fellow HF'ers! (and i'll pause myself)

At the same time, a 15 game goaless streak could quickly cause the opposite.

Especially when he's getting the same amount of minutes as Patty.

Threads like these...

...remind me why we're so lucky to have Lou and Conte managing talent for this team, and not a committee of fans. While they have not been earth-shakingly good signings, complaining about Niedermayer, McAmmond, and Pandolfo whilst in the midst of a massive winning streak that they've contributed to takes a lot of chuzpah. ESPC. when the other options are to field even MORE rookies than we already are, before they're deemed ready by the organization...or signing some other old guys. This team was never gonna sign Hossa, so what's wrong with cheap, experienced veterans? (Pando's service-reward contract aside. I have no problem with the reason it was granted, but I at least understand why others do.)

Not to mention he has played exceedingly well on the PK, and has brought Pandolfo's career back to life (for now anyway), something which I thought was impossible.

McAmmond has been sensational. If you told me a month ago he would centre Parise and Elias on our top line and score two goals against Atlanta, I would have dismissed you as a crazy person. I seriously thought he was washed up, and maybe good for fourth line duties only. But he has taken to our team instantly, I hope he can keep up this stellar play.
