Flyers get a guy that could be our future #1 and hopefully could take over in 2010-11. They also get a solid forward and defenseman prospect in return.

Montreal's top 6 could use a guy like Hartnell that will get in front of the net and work in the corners. Halak is expendable with Price in front of him.
I dont know who is Bodrov...

I like the young White but Montreal says .. yes!

You are aware we have a backup goaltender in Vancouver? Andrew Raycroft? Who's been playing great when called upon this season. Boucher is unnecessary, and Kesler being added is absurd. If Kesler is going to Philly you best have one of Giroux, JVR, Carter or Richards in the conversation, because he is outplaying ALL of them this season.

I like the prospect of Hartnell for Schneider and Bieska then moving Coburn for a forward. That would make my world.

I have a feeling that Carter get's move. Talk about a shake up in the locker room, that'd be like a damn earthquake.

Hartnell plays center? Canucks need two backup goalies? Heck, we actually need to get a 3rd line center if we keep Kesler - dealing him leaves us with a huge hole down the middle.

It was a commentary on its relevance to the thread - a thread titled "Hartnell proposals" harbored a proposal of Kirill Petrov for Nikita Filatov.

You can trade Hartnell to the Kings, just leave Bernier out of the deal.

Hartnell for Bieksa and Schneider

then flip Coburn for Upshall and a 1st

Carter isn't going to move because that would be cutting off their nose to spite their face.

What's up with Coburn?

Why does every Philly fan want him gone?

Well he is only 24, I wouldn't mind a Coburn + Hartnell for Bieksa + swap.

Lehtonen + T.White for Hartnell is the best offer IMO, from a Habs fan POV.

So third liner + can't stay healthy average 26 year old goalie is the best offer?

I think White has next to no value, so it's basically Lehtonen for Hartnell.

I like the idea of adding Scott Hartnell's grit to the top 6, but I'm not so sure his contract makes sense for this team going forward.
