Very nicely placed pass by MPS to Klingberg to get Sweden on the board.

For those not watching the game, MPS flies down the left side along the boards, makes a forehanded pass that looked like a saucer pass that landed close to the goalmouth on the right side and Klingberg pots it.

Eberle and MPS have me pretty excited, I like their puck hundling skils but their decision is very strong as well.

Wonder if that low play will translate to the NHL. Very simple and effective.

And exactly what the oilers need, is a down low play on the PP.

Agreed, and it's tough to gauge MPS in a game like this when it was all Canada for the most part. Very few players stood out in a good way for Sweden, and he was one of them. Eberle is quite impressive, it just sucks that we always get guys with these incredible skill sets in such small bodies relative to NHL players average size.

Paajarvi barely played until the third, so it really is hard to gauge his game. We knew he had good speed and was a puck carrier.

I thought it was a weaker game than usual for Eberle. Maybe it's the new team or the pressure to score he obviously faced, but he forced the play once or twice too often. Still: Goal and an assist. Obvious puck skills. The rest will be there when Canada needs it to be.

I thought Paajarvi gave really accurate and crisp passes as well.
Eberle could have had 5 dimes if his teammates could have cashed in.
Lander played okay and seemed strong on his skates.

I dont like this Canadian team in general they seem really arrogant and made some really cheap hits.

I hope Pat Quinn is still around when MPS is ready to play. MPS is such a big, strong skater with very good vision. He is very tough to knock off the puck.

Everytime I see Eberle play, I think about Sam Gagner and his on again/off again development. Eberle is going to face the same challenges that Gagner has thus far.
