Looks like Hank will get the start yet again. http://blogs.northjersey.com/blogs/r...stgame_wrapup/

Also, to get back to a point I raised in the live blog, sounds like Henrik Lundqvist (34 saves) will start both Monday at Carolina and Wednesday in what is shaping up to be a crucial game in terms of battling for the final playoff spots with the Panthers at Madison Square Garden.

This portion of the schedule is the easiest the Rangers have by far the rest of the way. The need to pick up a bunch of points here.

I too am a little concerned not giving Henrik a rest...

I understand Torts' thinking right now though, the standings are too tight to lose a game to a team close to us in points (that we have a good chance of beating). I think if he was going to rest Lundy, he should do it for Carolina since they're tanking anyway.

I just hope that Torts doesn't rest Lundy for the NYI game on the 26th that I'm going to. Half my enjoyment is watching Hank.

Quick correction - it says Ryan Whitney in the Carolina projected lines instead of Ray Whitney.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how much ice time Anisimov gets this game- let's see if Torts is ready to let Artem get some more minutes yet.

Hank will most likely play the rest of December, according to Zipay.

I'd say the game on New Year's Eve against the 'Canes would be a good opportunity to give him some rest.

Yeah I have nothing against that.

But when Hank is "hot" you play him as long as possible especially in the situation we're in right now, when we need the points. Unless he dosen't crave for a rest that is...
