Does anyone know what that song is that seems to be played more and more at sporting events? It goes like this and usually everyone is kind of singing along so that it's usually really loud. Seems to be played at the beginning and end of games mostly.
daa, da da da daa duuuuuhhhh over and over and over...

What's worse than Jeff Rimer calling hockey? I'm glad you asked...
That would be Tom Hammond calling an NFL game. UGH
Plus, during a promo for the NHL game of the week next week he said "the NHL game of the week returns next week featuring Niklas Listrom and the Blackhawks against the Detroit Red Wings..."
I feel bad for you Bengals fans today. Shayne Graham cost them the game.
The Bengals thought they won it after they swept the division. Since then they havent shown up. Oakland bloodied their nose and they eaked out wins against Detriot and KC. This could be seen coming from midway through the season.

Seriously. Too many injuries. Carson was not great this year. This year, as he was supposed to be fully healthy with a decent o-line again, raises some serious questions about whether he's still got "it".

how can a guy who's never won a playoff game ever have had "it" to lose "it"?
Carson wasn't great this season because he didn't need to be, the team committed itself to be a run first, run second, pass third team and it worked for most of the season...
Stat Line: 21 rushes, 169 yds...
Thats Benson against the Jets defense... The problem was that when the Jets got the lead, its hard to come back simply relying on the run, so the Bengals passed... and the O-line wasn't playing well in Pass Protection situations, Rex Ryan was throwing stunts and blitz packages that the O-Line just couldn't stop.
I also think the Bengals missed a T.J. Houshmanzadeh in this game... Coles is a nice pickup, but they need a possession guy that can get them 7-9 catches consistently a game... The also have lacked any kind of threat from a pass catching standpoint at TE for years, Chase Coffman, who they drafted out of Missouri, didn't get any action at all this season, I'd take a look at him and determine if he's got the tools to be a threat in the receiving game. Andre Caldwell could develop into a nice possession guy, but he's not there yet, Quan Cosby looks like a straight special teamer and its thin after that. Maybe split out Bernard Scott in a package and give him a Reggie Bush type role, the guy is pretty quick.
Another year for these receivers will be good, but in the games they were down in this year, they don't have enough perimeter weapons.
lol Bengals lose. Maybe all these Bengals "fans" will finally shut up for a couple of months. I mean second winning season since 1990..ha...you'd think they were defending champs the way most of them talked.
Yeah, they're almost as bad as the Browns fans making fun of the Bengals for losing in the playoffs when the Browns haven't won their division since 1989.
Just so we're clear, Steelers fans can still make fun of the Browns and Bengals, right?
I make no bones about it that I'm a Bengals fan, and aside from bashing Cleveland Ownership and Management lately (they deserve to be btw) I have few problem with Browns fans....
But come on...

The cards continue to fall in Place for Brian Kelly at ND.....
And USC is going after Mike Riley last i heard, ballsy, trying to poach an existing head coach from your conference.
When I first saw the whole Urban Meyer news (this was before it was announced that it just a "one year" thing) I predicted that Urban would be the head coach at ND in 5 years.
I'll go ahead and stand by that, even with the whole "one year" deal. Carrol will also be back in college in 5 years.

I think you're right about this... NFL players don't care about having a SoCal tanned, sort of cool uncle that lets you drink beer under age coach....
I think trying to manage a draft is going to be a nightmare for him... He's no longer "recruiting" He's now buying, and he's not going to have All-pro's at every position.
Carroll wanted control of Football Ops.... I think he's going to fizzle as well

I do.
I was rooting for Cincy. Never had a beef with them and my wife's family are fans. Rough game. Benagls season was good early and average late. Bummer. Thinking about Shayne Graham makes my stomach hurt.

urban won't be going to ND...as the resident gator here...from the info i have heard/read, he's seriously holding out for when tressel leaves....
now, his contract has an out clause for 3 schools (ND, tOSU, scUM) so anything is possible, but according to one of the "insider" boards for the gators I go to, he really wants to come back to Ohio over ND...

meh, what good is winning the division if you lose in the first round?

I didn't know he had an out for any other school other than Notre Dame...let alone OSU.
I guess the Notre Dame media hype machine has pulled another fast one over me again!
