While that is good advice, I think a look at the Coyotes PK numbers would indicate it's not quite THAT critical.

I highly doubt LaBarbera is getting this one despite his success this season against the Blue Jackets. Rested up and ready to go....lets keep winning boys.

Me too. Although another thing to point out is L10 number for the Jackets. YIKES

Also one astute CBJ fan gave a bold prediction:

Final game of the series. Let's win this series, improve our chances at getti
ng into the playoffs, and bury Columbus chances of.

If we go perfect the rest of December or close we might even be the division leader, especially if we beat San Jose in the next 2 match ups with then this month.

This probably isn't going to happen.

I don't think he really cares. He has never replied to anyone that addressed him before. You clicked one of the links, and I'm pretty sure that's all he cares about.

Bryz starts, according to Coyotes.com.
Garon for Jackets according to their site.

Damn, I would rather have Mason in net. Garon always does well against us.

Yes he will be definately in unless we dress 7 D.

Edit: Fiddler is a healthy scratch.

Doubt it. If Boll is dressing for the BJ's tonight, that means Bissonette will play.

Mason has been sucking as of late. Not surprised Garon is starting.

I think it's more likely that the Coyotes force Columbus to play their defensive game. Our offensive numbers are fine anyway, the total is not important, it's the difference between GF and GA that is critical. The Yotes score more than they give up and Columbus doesn't. And thinking about it more, when I say the Coyotes will force the defensive game on Columbus as likely, with all the due respect to CBJ, they don't HAVE a game right now. Columbus's game right now is losing, a lot.

I'm not saying staying out of the box isn't important, but with the Coyotes defense Columbus could easily get 1 PP goal on 5 chances, 1 even strength goal. The Coyotes would pot two of their own and the third goal would probably go to the Yotes simply because the Jackets have been terrible. And like I said, #8 PK is nothing to sneeze at.

EDIT: Also as a minor note, I'm listening to the CBJ radio feed, and I like them playing the anthem. Can't go wrong with Patrick on the radio.

Considering Fiddler got dinged last game he's probably not an entirely healthy scratch.
