I looked for a full roster and couldn't find one. Did Becca Johnson make it?

They should have dressed Phaneuf's little brother in drag for this tourny. He would absolutely crush the competition.

I've never heard that one. Do you write for Seinfeld?

Seriously, we're really happy the writer's union lets you post on this message board. It wold be a shame if you didn't. Without you, many of us, including me, would have never been introduced to the female + kitchen reference comedy set-up.

We hope you keep posting, as early as possible in various threads, so we can bask in your sophisticated, yet edgy, remarks.

Sincerely,
Shuddup

womens hockey, even at the national level, is pretty weak. Which makes for boring tv. I'll probably watch the championship game though.

I hate to say it, but I can see better shinny hockey at my local arena than what these players are capable of.

The best best Canadian women were getting routinely beat by boys midget teams in no hit games. That level of talent doesn't really excite me, not to mention the total lack of competition in the tournent.

I'll be honest, I really don't care.

Womens hockey is a total joke. I'd rather watch a bake-off.

Actually I've played pick up with a girl who tried out for a spot on the national team and I was better than her as were most of the players on the ice, and that's just public shinny (albeit fairly fast shinny).

Okay guys, this is your first and ONLY warning. Keep it clean and gender sensative. We not only have women posting here (amazing I know) but we also have kids as young as 13.

Any other rude comments will be subject a warning/infraction as to a moderator's discretion.

Oh ya, what was her name? Did she make the team?

Marie-Philip Poulin would deke your jockstrap in to a bowtie, Tucker Carlson.

How is a 12-6 record getting routinely beaten? One of their goalies is 7-0 in that series.

The supposed "best womens team in the world" has lost lost 6 games against 16 year old boys that follow their "no hit" rules. You don't think that is kind of pathetic?

If the mens team played against 16 year old boys playing their rules, the boys would get absolutely *****.

I never said there weren't differences between men's hockey and women's hockey. But a team with a .667 winning percentage isn't beaing 'routinely beaten' by any reasonable standards.

Of course the men's team would beat AAA midget squads, that's a dumb comparison to make. Theoretically, they should beat every team in the world. The question was whether some random dudes at shinny could beat the women's team. I don't think a random shinny group could beat a AAA midget team, and they don't have a winning record against the women's team.

I never said that the womens team would get beat by a bunch of shinny players, that rediculous opinion was expressed by somebody else.

Losing 1/3 of your games to 16 and 17 year old boys that are forced to play with adapted rules is losing regularily. I'm not saying they have a losing record, but when they hit the ice against these teams, there is still a pretty good chance they are going to lose.

This is supposed to be the best womens team in the world, and the fact that they lose at all speaks to the overall talent level of the womens game.
