Bergeron not cut, should be fine- Jacques Martin.

Hurt himself going into the post. Pre-cautionary.

No? See Plekanec's topics this summer, or AK's at the beginning of the year. It's the truth.
You forgot MAB. But we get your point... I hope.

By the way, since Pleks' so hot, why not play him with SK and D'Ago to "make them better" and by the same token, put Gomez with AK46 and Cammy? Two birds with one stone.

Moen is a big country boy, he knows what it takes to win. He will sacrifice his body to win, just wait until the playoffs and it will be even more evident.

I wish we would have kept T.K in hindsight to play on the 4th line though (+ the Moen signing). We need some more heart guys.

MAB scored the way we wanted Fatendresse to play. Well he scored by doing what you gotta do to score goals: going to the net.

The only difference that matters is the WIN. Halak is getting it done and is not giving goals away like Price did against Minny, NJ and Pittsburgh.

Anyways, I know you're a Price apologist. I like Price but I'll take Halak's consistent play right now over Price's "amazing save/let's give away a goal" roller coaster play right now. Price will get his chance again but right now Halak deserves the net.

Report from McGuire on CKAC:

Moen had trouble walking
Mara with the hand injury
Bergeron was not cut, though McGuire still believes that it was a serious injury with the way the doctors were around him in the infirmary.

Gomez's success will always be directly correlated to whom he is paired with. He is a 100% pure Playmaker, 100%. The problem is his line mates have absolutely no idea where to go (especially that waste of roster space D'Agostini). Brian Gionta is a warrior and has cunning hockey sense, he will go exactly where you need to go to be effective and Gomez will as he did earlier this season and in New Jersey, find ways to give him the puck. People forget this, or refuse to believe it. He is paid too much, we know, sports insiders know it, i'm sure Gainey knows it, for crying out loud Scott Gomez knows it. Nothing we can do about it now, but try to hope can be as effective as he is capable of being.

I will be curious to see how Pouliot fills in with Gomer & Giant.. I think we might see a great line formed here, perhaps as good or BETTER then the CPK line.

Bergeron is still a major defensive liability out there why do people forget that..... yes he contributed on the offensive end but his constant giveaways in his own zone show that he isnt a NHL calibre defenseman

I really like MAB as the 7th d-man. I was strongly opposed to it at first, since it made me think about Carbonneau (sigh)...

But, the guy drives to the net like no other forward and he gives everything he has... and like I always thought, he's money on the PP with the General.

...plus, it seems every game we're losing a defenceman... as he played a whole game on the 4th line without having to play defense?
