I wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas and safe and happy holidays and new years where ever you are or whatever your plans are.
Sadly we will be unable to visit Nashville. Flight tickets proved to be more than we had anticipated or budgeted for. I really am kicking myself for not visiting Nashville before I moved to Taiwan but alas.
That said we will be in Idaho for 3 glorious weeks, will spend several days at Yellowstone National Park as well as my whole family will go to a few Idaho Steelhead games. They are an ECHL team and if anyone remembers, when Dan Ellis carried the team on his back to the Kelly cup championship several years ago I went to a lot of the playoff games and can now proudly say I saw Ellis when he was in the minors.
I personally look forward to cold weather and snow, sane drivers and mother's cooking and baked goods. Also plan on watching a lot of the bowl games and of course will be rooting for my Boise State Broncos to pound TCU into the ground in the Fiesta Bowl.
Leaving Taiwan tomorrow bright and early, hopefully have a safe and easy flight as we have several connections.
Will check in every now and then and I'll at least be able to see Predators games on the TV rather than computer.
Take care everyone, have a great Christmas and please do stay safe and don't drink and drive.
I hope all of those who celebrate this holiday had, and will continue to have, a good one. As for the BS/TCU game, I hope it's a good one, but I just don't see Boise being able to beat TCU. I hope it's a good game, though. Enjoy your stay state-side!
