Wednesday 12/23 Scott Hartnell & Marc Savard on Price is Right

Apparently the host of The Price is Right (Drew Carey) is a big hockey fan and has been promoting the Winter Classic on the show and will have Scott Hartnell and Marc Savard on the show on Wednesday. Should be pretty fun to watch. Especially since Hartnell can't take any bad penalties so it won't be as frustrating to watch him.

I'm willing to bet Savard accidentally drops an F-bomb or two like his Mic'ed up for the All Star Competition last year.

Marc Savard Cap Hit: 5 Million.
Since the lockout Savard has averaged 90 points a season with a high of 98 points and a low of 78 points.

Scott Hartnell Cap Hit: 4.2 Million.
Since the lockout Hartnell has averaged 48 points a season with a high of 60 points and a low of 39 points.

For one of these two the Price is not Right.

Come on down and take your guess for who it is.

By that logic, I could see some idiot on the main board write something like this -

"Bruins lost a few games, maybe they need a shake-up and could send Savard to Philly for Hartnell and Coburn.

Dealz?!?!?!?"

It's the same thing as us sending Jeff Carter to anywhere for scrubs who are not even half as good.

Can't wait to see the Flyers on it. The kings were on it like a year ago and it was kinda of funny:

This isn't really related to the Price is Right or the Winter Classic, but it falls in line with the Hartnell on TV thing. I don't know how old it was, but a couple of nights ago I saw this poker tourney on ESPN 2. It was a hockey related tourney with current and retired NHLers as well as poker pros playing for charity. Hartnell won the whole thing and beat out the likes of Luongo, Versteeg, and JR among others at the final table. I just think it's pretty cool to see Scotty becoming a marketable figure for the league because of his sense of humor and whacky hair style. He seems to be a great guy outside of the rink.
