Stone is all over the west coast, they do some pretty aggressive tasting ales. Stone Ruination IPA is even hoppier, and maybe you've tried Arrogant ******* as well.

Anyway, for the game tonight. The second period gave me pause but the other two were damn solid. Blair ****ing Betts.

Giroux had his turn with Powe/Asham im sure JVR will be fine.
So did I.

Just got back, absolutely delighted with the effort tonight. Second period was a bit weak though.

Just got home from the game. Saw every goal because I was on the Visiting side. Looked like the Flyers came out of the gate and were all over the ****in puck, then pretty much gave up in the 2nd period.

Was awesome to see 1/2 of the crowd in Flyers colors though.

Thank god for mike smith though

oh and when they named the Flyers head coach they showed a picture of Laviolette and the caption said "John Stevens" lol

One thing i noticed actually. Richards, Carter and Hartnell were having a bit of a laugh and a joke with Nitty during the pre-match warm-up. Not a word between anyone and Downie however.

Still though, they looked as though they were actively avoiding each other. Downie came out pretty hard too, got called twice early.

Not really important, but whatever. Blair Betts was named 3rd star of the night by Puck Daddy. It's the small victories that count.

Niitty didn't play so he didn't have his game face on like Downie would have.

Not necessarily. A lot of opponents who know each other well enough chat during warmups. When the Ducks came to Philly, Lappy came across the red line (which to anyone who knows about etiquette in warmups, doesn't happen ever) to chat with J.S. Giguere.

Have you ever seen Downie in warmups? He rarely chats with his teammates, nevermind the opposition.

Apparently as long as I don't watch the game at all they do well . . . I'll continue this trend as long as it keeps working.
