Well it's danger mode for me. It's been ever since game 1 lol. It's not like we are a consistent team, we are very inconsistent. We could EASILY go 0-7 on this road trip, while other teams win and climb in the standings, we continue to sink.
They left Pavelec out to dry on goals two and three, and they're making Thomas look superhuman.
There is absolutely no excuse to lose to the Bruins. None. Still, they will, and they'll continue their free-fall down the standings. Fantastic.
I'm starting to agree with the rest of the bunch. I'd LOVE to see what this team, as constructed, could do with a real NHL head coach who preached some discipline and some sandpaper. This team is WAY too weak in the corners, and even Valabik doesn't hit anyone anymore. I don't think it matters if they make the postseason or not; poor coaching will have them eaten alive.
Nice PP there for the Thrashers. Win the face off, but because your point men are asleep the puck goes out the zone. Spend the next 30 seconds trying to get the puck back in, only to have your team take 2 stupid penalties to go on the PK. Goodnight
It wasn't officiating that lost the game. It was two mental lapses in the first period (goals two and three) by the D-corps, and then a willingness to sit back and get pummeled in the second and third periods. No sense of urgency, no organization, hell, barely even a sensible breakout.
Completely outhit and outcoached. This team skates too well for it to be as bad as it is.
