Don't know if anyone else caught the Canada/Czech game last night, but I wasn't super impressed with Horak. He got very little ice time and I think I heard his name called maybe 3 or 4 times.

Hopefully he plays a bigger role in later games.

Does anyone know why Tomáš Kundrátek didn't make Czech Rep?

We'll see.

Last year he didn't show much against the better teams. Like against Sweden I wonder if he even touched the puck.

He'll fare well against the worst teams. Id bet on him in a fantasy league for sure.

None of our other prospects made their respective WJC teams? I know a bunch still need to declare their roster but does anyone have a chance?

Just read this in that pdf:
Quote:
Team USA staged an impromptu 12-on-12 soccer scrimmage after practice Monday (Dec. 21), with “shirts” topping “skins” on a last-minute Ryan Bourque goal.
Lol. Ranger prospects keep showing up big on team USA - regardless of sport.

Grachev would have undoubtedly made it, Del Zotto has been **** on by Team Canada for years now for some reason, Kundratek was the best Czech defender last year but is too old now, and Werek is good, but Canada is loaded with talent.

Everyone else in our prospect pool is either on a WJC team, too old, or really not even in contention for a spot to begin with.

That's awesome for Stepan. Congratulations to him

We might not even need Hall after all with the way Stepan has been progressing. I mean, he's not as skilled obviously, but he definitely has 1st line upside.

You can never have too many top 6 guys. Our current roster could certainly use a few.
