Country Born Prospects

Each Country prospect trio will consist of a Goalie/Defenseman/Forward, not all the players are prospects some are in their 1st or 2nd year but basically everyone is around the same development stage.
So pick the best trio

Canada: Marc Andre Fleury / Jay Bouwmeester / Eric Staal

Usa: Rick Dipietro / Ryan Suter / Zach Parise

Finland: Kari Lehtonen / Joni Pitkanen / Mikko Koivu

Sweden: Mikael Tellqvist / Niklas Kronwall / Alexander Steen

Russia: Ilya Bryzgalov / Denis Grebeshkov / Nikolai Zherdev

Czech: Marek Schwarz / Ladislav Smid / Milan Michalek

I'd take the Canadian trio though I would also have selected Finland if Ruutu was included..

Kari Lehtonen / Joni Pitkanen / Mikko Koivu

Although I think Russia has 3 of the best forwards in Ovechkin, Malkin and Zherdev

I'm going with Finland too, despite having Mikko Koivu instead of Tuomo Ruutu.

Koivu instead of Ruutu?? Based on that this poll sucks. Yes, im still a homer and voted for Finland. Fleury vs. Lehtonen = even, as is Bouwmeester vs. Pitkänen but IMO Ruutu is little ahead of Staal.
EDIT: typos

I will also go woth Canada, but as swede, I don't think Sweden's prospects look that bad. I don't see Tellqvist as our best goalie prospect at the moment though, thats Henrik Lundqvist, NY Rangers. Nik Kronwall will be a good top-4 defender, only lacking some size, but got a great ice-vision and don't mind trowing his body around. Alex Steen is another safe prospect that will be top-6 in the NHL. But still, Sweden is a little behind Canada and Finland here IMO.

EDIT: Steen will be a top-6 forward in Toronto, maybe not in the NHL.

Bernd Brückler - Thomas Pöck - Thomas Vanek

for Austria.
