Marek Svatos comes out of the Woodwork for Avs Looks like Imonnen to Me

Avs got this guy at 227 in the 2001 draft, and he's been huge for the Avs so far, out with a shoulder injury for most of the year he came back and played himself into the lineup and they couldn't take him out (Quinn wouldn't have any trouble) if Mats was able to go tonight bet Stajan would come out. But after watching him this guy looks like Imonnen smooth as silk with his passes around the net. But you have to give up something to get something, and if we win the Cup it will be all worth while.

Svatos' performance in this playoffs is remarkably similar to Immonen's.

Wait, what's that you say?

Immonen has never played in North America or had more than one good year in the *Finnish* League?

You say that Eero Somervuori tore up the Finnish League last year, was touted as Calder material, and had trouble scoring on the Hamilton Bulldogs...of the AHL...and never saw the NHL light of day this season?

Meh.

I didn't even know who he was really, only picked him at the start of the pool because he was my last player, and the only one I could afford. Lucky break.

And when exactly did Imonnen score some timely goals in the NHL playoffs for his team??

If we are going to start making those types of comparisons, then we better start comparing Steen to Gretzky.

Oh, that's not a good comparison?? Exactly.
